It has been wonderful to see The Wilson emerge from the challenges of recent years. Despite building works, team changes and rising costs, the team has increased visitors and brought in a more diverse audience reflecting the changes in Cheltenham over the past 40 years. We have seen exhibitions and activities that have engaged new creatives and featured some of the well-established pieces of the collection. This has all been achieved while occupying a much smaller space, moving the collection from one temporary storage area to another and turning the older galleries into spaces that are fit for the 21st century…
